At Lazy Me, our main aim is to reduce festival waste. Unfortunately, we now live in a society under the collective impression that everything has only one use. In most cases, this is entirely the wrong idea. We recycle, reuse and repurpose our products again and again to cut down on mass production of tents, sleeping bags, camping chairs … well, you get the gist !

To gear festivals in a more sustainable direction, we offer a service where our customers can receive all their basic equipment and festival necessities upon arrival. Then, once the weekend draws to a close, they have the option to keep their equipment for next time or to return and gain money back. This then allows us to deep clean leftover equipment and reuse or repurpose in time for the next batch of festivals. Ultimately this reduces the amount of waste leftover on the fields and decreases the production of these pesky plastics.

As festival fanatics are mostly a youthful audience, I wanted create the brands identity to match this. The approach is a more relaxed informal setting which would appeal for a young adult and changing the way they think about festival waste. The name of the brand derives from the service the company offers, of making going to festivals a lot less stressful and simple.

I firstly created all the generic elements of the brand; logo, tag line, branded stationary and the packaging. After all these elements were complete I could then move not creating the app design for the business, which would used for ordering the Lazy Me bundle. I didn't stop there! As this was my final project I wanted to push myself a lot more and create the brands own character illustrations which I could use throughout and to also produce a magazine which would target 'festival fanatics' for the latest trends and headliners for the coming festival season. Hope you enjoy looking through this project.

To save on paper forms and losing tickets, Lazy Me is all done digitally. From ordering to dropping off all your equipment when you're done.
